01

The premise

The sky remembers

A broken world. An inherited burden. A path of your own.

Ashea is a world of floating islands, distant landmarks, living communities, and dangerous routes—contained by a violent storm belt left behind by an ancient Calamity.

Clide Sato begins far from becoming a hero. A sudden loss pulls him beyond the home he knows and into a search for someone who matters more than the answers waiting beyond the horizon.

Carrying an awakening power and memories that are not entirely his own, Clide must discover what happened without allowing an inherited past to decide who he becomes.

The rhythm of the journey

Every road becomes a story.

Design pillars

Freedom with consequence

Look closer. Plan ahead. Choose carefully.

Endless Wanderer is built around exploration that rewards attention, systems that connect, and choices the world does not simply forget.

01

Follow the world

Landmarks, rumors, journals, maps, and local stories lead the way. Discovery comes from paying attention—not activating towers.

02

Tools with many answers

Six permanent tools connect exploration, combat, quests, crafting, and environmental problem-solving through consistent rules.

03

Prepare for the journey

Meals, tonics, armor, routes, and knowledge help Clide face dangerous climates without hunger meters or constant busywork.

04

Leave a lasting mark

Communities and characters remember decisions. Trust, relationships, regional conditions, and outcomes can change over time.

Your home between islands

The Sky Skiff

Repaired from a damaged vessel, Clide's Sky Skiff becomes transportation, workshop, shelter, storage, and a mobile base for reaching islands beyond the next bank of clouds.

  • Free flight between reachable islands
  • Cooking, crafting, storage, and repair facilities
  • Upgradeable systems, fuel, hull, and components
  • Real risks when docking beyond protected settlements
03

Connected systems

Six tools. Many answers.

A permanent exploration toolkit.

Each tool is designed to matter across traversal, combat, quests, crafting, and environmental interaction—not disappear after a single puzzle.

Preparation, not punishment

Read the route before taking it.

Meals, tonics, armor, skiff upgrades, and environmental knowledge help Clide survive dangerous regions—without hunger, thirst, food spoilage, or portable kitchen micromanagement.

Development snapshot

What exists today

Foundation first. Gameplay next.

The authoritative story, world, systems, tools, and first-playable scope are being consolidated while the Godot project structure and supporting development workflows are established. Gameplay implementation has not started.

A gated path forward

Build the proof before building the world.

The complete vision is intentionally larger than the current milestone. Each stage must prove its foundation before the next one begins. Dates will be set only when the work supports them.

01 / Now

Stabilize the foundation

Audit the current technical work, verify predictable startup and shutdown, and protect private or generated files.

02 / Next

Consolidate pre-production

Bring the approved story, world, systems, tools, inventory, and first-playable scope into reliable project documents.

03 / Then

Prove the first playable

Build a small grayboxed experience that demonstrates movement, camera, interaction, combat, gathering, cooking, a quest, and saving.

04 / Later

Create a vertical slice

Turn one contained section into a polished proof of the final art direction, gameplay, performance, audio, and storytelling pipeline.

Creative vision

“Inherited power and memories are burdens—not commands.”

Endless Wanderer is a story about grief, discovery, responsibility, and refusing to let the past dictate the person you choose to become.
